Anybody that knows anything about this great sport of pro wrestling knows that no matter what you know, you will never know it all. That's why some excel in this sport and others just stay stagnant. And wrestling is one of those "do-it-youreself" sports. If you wanna get better, then YOU should find the means to that end. No matter how long I have been wrestling and whatever I have been taught, I still want to be the best Velvet Jones that I can be.
That is why I am so happy Rampage Pro Wrestling opened up Rampage University. I was invited to come down there and train. I have been trying to make the most of it. There were a lot questions I had but no one could answer them for me. Not only am I learning new stuff or tweaking things in my arsenal, but I am also learning why I should do them. A lot of people can say the word psychology and a few people can actually spell it. Not everyone knows how to apply it. I am learning so much there and I can't wait to learn more.
If you think you have seen the best of Velvet Jones, you are fooling yourself. I have only been scratching the surface for the last four years and I still have been consistently ranked among the top wrestlers in the state. Just you wait. The best is yet to come.....

Full circle
Wow. What a wrestling weekend I had. Statred off early Saturday afternoon with an outside show against Jake Slater. We had a decent, solid match. In the end, Jake Slater (with Mike Money in his corner) defeated me with a roll-up and his feet on the ropes for leverage. That daen greaseball!!! I can't say damn because we wrestled in front of a church. LOL
Later on that day, I wrestled Scott Cage in a defense of the GIWA championship. The match was going well and in my favor until Cage tried to hit me with a chain. Part-owner KSL ran out and tried to stop him. When I went to see about Cage, KSL turned on me and hit me in the back with a tennis racket. Cage rooled me up for the pin untilo the match was restarted by Mad Mac Davis. In the end, Mike Stratus interfered in the now no-DQ match, levelled me with an ironing board, and knocked me out cold. Cage made the cover and won the title. Cage, KSL, Stratus - you days are all coming.
Sunday morning saw me go to Rampage University for some training. There are a lot of simple things about wrstling that I didn't know. Why? Simple: I was never taught those things. Here's some advice for wrestlers - if you wanna get better, take the opportunity to do so when it comes up. Just as I had the option of saying "I wrestled twice a day earlier" as a reason not to go to Rampage, I didn't. I woke up at 8 Sunday morning, jumped in my ride at 9, and wound up there a little after ten in the morning. Wanting to be better at anything is about more than talking the talk. Still, I stayed and I worked Cru Jones (he's a meanie like Stratus). Good solid match, but I lost it too. 0-3 this weekend. That sucks. I'm ranting. That's sucks too. I'm out. Peace and hair grease...
